Travis and Christine Stromberg Crowther purchased an acre of ground from Travis’ Uncle, Lorin Crowther.  Travis, an artist, built the barn style house set back from the road with the idea of it becoming his art studio at a later time when they would build a home in front.  It is two story block stucco and wood siding construction, and they developed it into a charming home.  Over time, Travis did build a small art studio in the back side yard. 

In 2006, the Crowthers moved to Pleasant View and sold the home to Mark and Donna Lindsley. 

In 2014, the home was sold to new owners, Bruce and Amy Paskett Mayhew.  Amy was raised in Harrisville and is a beautician.  They converted the art studio into a salon for Amy.  They lived there for six years, then sold the home when they moved out of State.
