This one-story frame vinyl and masonry home with full basement was built by Dean H. and Marilyn Parker in 1958.  Dean was the leader of the Explorer group of the Boy Scouts of America at the time and helped 21 of the young men in the area obtain their Silver Explorer Award.  

Wallace and Lenora Knight, who were living at 431 North Harrisville Road, purchased the home when the Parkers moved. They lived there until 1966 when their son Byron and wife Janice Dabb Knight bought the home.  

In 1979, Byron and Janice sold the home and moved to 931 North Harrisville, across the street from Janice’s parents, Ralph and Jennie Dabb.
