This home was built in 1922, on property originally owned by Pleasant Green Taylor, and was probably built by one of his sons.  It is similar in style to the homes at 1280 and 1249 North Harrisville Road.  Robert and Fay Harris purchased the home in the 1950s and raised their family here.  Robert was the son of Martin H. and Viola Eames Harris who lived nearby at 558 West Harrisville Road.
