Lawrence and Alice Saunders built this home in 1980 and rented the basement as an apartment several times.  It is a one-story frame home with a full basement, with metal and vinyl siding. The Four Mile Creek flows along the west boundary of the property.   

In 1999, Saunders created the Alice Saunders Subdivision, and this lot became Lot 2.  They built a new home on Lot One at 1419 North Highway 89.
