William Heber and Melissa Thomas Taylor built this home in 1893. They first built two rooms, later adding the new brick front addition in 1898. The Ogden Pressed Brick and Tile Company in Harrisville made the red brick.
The Taylors sold this home to their oldest son, Alfonzo, and his wife Annie Taylor when they built a home on property at 1249 North Harrisville Road next to another son, Nephi, and wife Ada Taylor in 1930.
Keith & Ileen Larkin bought the original home in 1955 and moved their family here.
Daughter JeNeal Larkin and husband Claron Shaw became the owners in 1987 and lived here until 1990, at which time they removed and replaced the home with a new bi-level frame masonry home.
