Daniel Styles and Annie Buck Maxfield were living in this home in 1910 when their son, J. Ben Maxfield, was born in an upstairs bedroom.  They later moved to 1084 North Harrisville Road. 

Several families lived in the home before owners Gene and Lola Pilgrim bought the home and lived here with their young family before building a home on 700 North in Harrisville.  Others known to have lived here include William Jones and Walter M. Estep, who lived here for quite a while.
