Lawrence and Alice Cheney Saunders built this home of frame masonry veneer construction in 1960 on Saunders family property.  He built next to his brother Leland Saunders.  Later, Lawrence and Alice built another home in Harrisville on Highway 89, and moved there.  They sold this home to their daughter Alene and husband Scott Chambers.  When Chambers moved to North Ogden, they sold the home to their son, Shane and his wife Jessica Saunders who lived there for a short time.
