This ranch style home with a basement was built of frame masonry veneer construction by Gary Preston and Joyce Julander Larsson on an acre of land given to them by Gary’s Parents, Joseph Preston and Velda Larsson.  It is located just to the east of where Gary’s brother Mitchel’s home was later located.  Gary and Joyce are longtime residents of Harrisville.  Gary served on the Harrisville City Council in 1972.  Gary and Joyce later turned the original attached garage into a large family room and built a new standalone garage.
