Alfred and Louise Howard were the first to live in this house at this location. (According to family members, the home may have been moved onto the property.) The house was built in 1921, of frame masonry construction; an addition of frame with siding exterior was added onto the back of the home.

Grant and Joanne Purcell Howard bought the house in 1954.  Grant was a nephew of Alfred and Louise, and Joanne was a member of the Purcell family who owned property south of this house. 

Bob and Nancy Howard next purchased the home from Bob’s Uncle Grant.
