Reuben G. and Alice A. Maxfield Field built this home in 1924.  It is frame dark red masonry veneer construction with a full basement, and a covered front porch. 

Reuben’s sister Bernice Field and her husband Victor Workman were the next owners. Bernice grew up in Harrisville and attended Weber County Schools. She was a member of Murray B. Allen Center Choir and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a retired bookkeeper. During World War II she worked at Defense Depot Ogden and formerly worked at the Weber County School Board Office.  

Cecil Burkhart is known to have lived here prior to the current owners.
