This split-level frame masonry veneer home was built in 1960.  Ron Driggs is known to have lived here.

Frederick W. and wife Karen S. Oates purchased the home. Fred was Harrisville City Mayor from 1998 to 2005 and served on several boards: Bona Vista Water, Central Weber Sewer, Utah Transit Authority, Weber Area Council of Governments, and Regional UDOT Area Council. Fred retired from the Defense Depot Ogden after 28 years. He also owned a number of local businesses.

He was born in Sunderland, England, in 1930 and immigrated to the United States with his sister in 1948. He was a soccer player, a coach, and a certified soccer referee. “He loved Real Salt Lake almost as much as his own family.”  

Charles Bowerbank was also known to have lived here prior to the current owners.
