In 1955, Keith and Vernona Olsen built this one-story ranch style home of frame yellow masonry veneer with a full basement.  They lived here until their three boys were mostly raised. In 1971 they built another home on a lot they purchased from Jerome and Isabell W. Miller, 1073 North Harrisville Road. 

Orlando and Alta Shipley bought this home from the Olsens and spent the remainder of their lives here.  In 1993, their granddaughter, Vicky and her husband David Anderson, became the owners. They appreciated the acreage included with the home where they could keep the horses their family enjoyed, and they built a nice barn on the property in back of the home in 2013.
