Wendall and LuAnne Quist John Slater built this ranch style home of frame red masonry veneer with full basement in 1960.  They raised their blended family here. Later, they divorced, and LuAnne lived in the home until her death in 2025 at the age of 91.

Friends and family say that LuAnne had an “incredible work ethic” and “respect and love for nature and all wild things in it.” She kept up the beautiful yard herself well into her later years, providing a refuge and place to gather for family and friends. The small barn in the rear of the 1.5 acre lot was sought out for photography sessions; the trees and gardens are a beautiful reminder of how she made her Harrisville house a home. 

After LuAnne’s passing, the home and property was sold and in 2025 began a new era of ownership and care.
