An earlier home on this property was owned by J. Warren and Alley Taylor.  A fire destroyed the home in the early 1960s.  

Baker and Glenna Watkins purchased the property and moved a two-story WWII frame barrack there. They remodeled the inside and finished the outside with vinyl siding. 

In 1983, Keith and Gayleen Larson Dabb purchased the home after it had been vacant for several years.  It is located two houses east of where Keith’s parents, Ralph and Jennie Dabb, lived at 944 North Harrisville Road, and Keith’s sister and husband, Janice and Byron Knight, who lived at 931 North Harrisville Road. Gayleen also grew up in Harrisville.

In 2008, Keith and Gayleen sold the home to the current owners and moved to Plain City.
