William L. (Bill) & Doris Smith built this one-level, ranch style, light color masonry veneer home in 1978 on land acquired from Bill’s parents, William W. and Gertrude Smith, who lived at 686 West Harrisville Road.  Bill’s sister, Margaret Smith and husband Larry Satterthwaite, lived next door at 670 West Harrisville Road.

William and Doris lived here a number of years, after which it became the home of their son, William F. (Bill) Smith and wife Reta Smith.  Bill and Reta lived here for some time before selling the home in November 2024.
