Darrell and Shirlane VanAlfen White built this bi-level frame home with light colored masonry veneer in 1965, on the lot next to her parents’ home at 625 West Harrisville Road (Shirlane’s parents were Nicholas and Jean VanAlfen.) They added a swimming pool to the back yard.  In 1980, Whites sold the home.

Others known to have lived here include Mark Hickman and Rodney and Lannae Dopp. In 1989, Dopps built a home at 679 West Harrisville Road, and sold this home to W. Hal and Paula Barrett who were living in a home in Cinnamon Subdivision (Harrisville’s first subdivision). 

Barretts lived in this house for seven or eight years; after Hal died, Paula sold the home and moved to a home on North Harrisville Road.
