John Benjamin Maxfield (Ben) placed half of a World War II barrack on this lot and made it into a comfortable small home for his daughter Joy and her husband Guy Thornock.  While living here with their family, they added an addition onto the back, a garage onto the side, and finished the outside with light red masonry veneer.

When Thornocks moved to North Ogden, James and Kathy P. Hall purchased the home and raised their three children here.  Their son, Eric, was injured in a skiing accident when he was 19, and was wheelchair bound.  Everyone who knew Eric loved him.  Halls moved to Brigham City, and the home was sold in 2011.
