1910

This small home of frame wood siding construction was built in 1910.  The house is set back on the lot.  Originally there was a harness shop in front of the house, where skilled leather craftsmen made and repaired complex leather harnesses for horses.  When the need for harness maintenance and repair diminished, the shop was converted into a small rental residence.  William and Laura T. Crowther were living there when their son Lorin W. Crowther was born.  Eventually the harness shop was removed.

Justin and Isabell R. Allred were living in the home with their family in the 1940s. They sold the home in 1983.
